Mint leaves have a cooling effect that can get rid of dark circles quite naturally. Crush a few fresh mint leaves and apply the result to the affected area for several minutes. Use a cool clean cloth to wipe off afterwards. If you want the best of two worlds, consider trying a paste of the mint leaves with some tomato juice.
The anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric make it a powerful tool in your skincare arsenal. Mixed with pineapple juice to make a thick paste, turmeric should be applied to the target area and wiped away after 10 minutes or so. Not only will this mixture help to remove your dark circles, it will also make the skin around your eyes appear much softer than before.
10. Cold Water
Cold water constricts the blood vessels under the eyes, reducing puffiness and the prominence of dark circles. Soak a washcloth, or perhaps wrap it around an ice pack. There’s plenty of room to get creative here – a bag of frozen peas, a zip-lock baggy full of ice cubes, you name it. This method may take a few applications per day before you start seeing results (making it less effective than the other remedies we’ve listed), but it’s hard to argue with the starting cost!
