Chard Black and Blue Smoothie
2 cups water
1 cup firmly packed chard leaves
1 medium-sized frozen sliced banana
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger, plus more to taste
1/8 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest, plus more to taste
1 cup frozen blackberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (optional)
1/2 teaspoon probiotic powder (optional, see post)
Pinch of sea salt (optional, see post)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon acai powder
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Throw all of your ingredients into your blender (including any boosters) and blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth and creamy.
