Oatmeal Scrub –  Oatmeal can be used as a mildly abrasive cleanser and exfoliator.  In a bowl, combine two tablespoons of oats with two tablespoons of milk.  Add a few drops of vanilla extract for fragrance.  Slowly stir in just enough water to form a spreadable paste.  Apply the mixture to your face with your fingers and rub it into the skin using circular motions.  When you rinse off the cleanser, dead skin cells and excess oil will be removed along with it.

Grapefruit Mask – If your skin tends to be oily, grapefruit will cleanse, freshen and revitalize it.  To make a grapefruit face mask, combine two teaspoons of grapefruit juice with a tablespoon of Greek yogurt. Beat an egg white until stiff and carefully fold it into the mixture.  Gently pat the mask onto your skin.  For best results, allow the mixture to work its magic for twenty minutes before rinsing your face with warm water.

honey-olive-oil 250

Honey Face Lotion-  This lotion is ideal for restoring suppleness to dry, tight skin. The honey helps to retain moisture while the olive oil improves elasticity.  Simply whisk together two tablespoons of honey and two tablespoons of olive oil until they emulsify into a light cream.  Apply the lotion to your face, rubbing it in to any areas of skin that are especially dry.
