Most of the fruits and veggies you buy at the local grocery store turn into a pile of “rotten stuff.” It is nice how we can buy all those berries and broccoli and kale. But, do you eat all of that? Of course not. Some of the products rot in the blink of your eye. Yes, strawberries.
You can make cookies, ice cream, jam, and pretty much anything that uses strawberries. However, sometimes you do not have an idea.
Wasting strawberries is a sin, and you should stop doing that. Here is a nice hack you should try. I promise, it works like magic, and you can share it with your friends and family.
All you have to do is fill a bowl with water and white vinegar, and soak your strawberries in the solution. You will need about one part of vinegar and four parts of water. Wait for a few minutes and pat dry. Make sure you get all the moisture out otherwise the strawberries will go bad. Use a salad spinner or a paper towel.
White vinegar removes mold spores, bacteria, and other nasty creatures from the juicy fruit.
Keep the dry strawberries on a paper towel in your fridge. Do not you even think of putting them back in their dirty container. You will not even taste the vinegar.
Use this trick for other berries. It works for blackberries blueberries, and raspberries.
Do your strawberries start turning bad soon after you take them home from the store? Extend their life with this simple tip so you can enjoy fresh strawberries in the fridge for days and sometimes even a week or two! DIRECTIONS —->> http://hip2save.com/2016/06/01/make-your-strawberries-last-longer/
